Cumbria Scout Council
The scout association is the UK largest mixed sex, volunteer-led movement for you people. Our aim is to make young people's lives better, helping them realise their full potential and take their place in society.
The County covers 2,600 sq Miles and is one of the largest physical areas of any Scout County in England, although for its size it is one of the least populated areas.
This presents it’s own challenges when planning and running a movement which aims to involve all youth. However, we work hard at this and over the last 5 years our youth membership has grown over 12%. This is down to the hard work and dedication that all our adult volunteers put in to plan and run an exciting program.
