SENCo Network

SENCO Networks are termly opportunities for SENCOs across the local area to meet up, share practice and hear the latest SEND related updates from the Local Authority, NHS and other Partners. 

They aim to help develop the collective knowledge and understanding of SEND best practice and offer an opportunity for regular engagement with colleagues. 

The sessions also act as a forum for SEND practitioners to contribute to the SEND Partnership’s planning and development through regular consultations and feedback. 

The SENCO Networks have two sessions a term; aimed at different audiences. 

  • Early Years Settings
  • Schools/Post-16 Settings

Outcomes:

To access any recent updates regarding SEN processes, guidance and legislation
To receive information on strategies to support children with SEND.
To have the opportunity to network with colleagues and ask questions relating to SEN practice.


Booking:  

Attendance is completely free and can be booked in three ways:

• Registered users can book through our online system SLA–Online

• By emailing the School Development Team at school.development@cumbria.gov.uk

• By calling the team on 01228 221312 /221315 / 221316
